Programme
Key information
Warehouse logistics managers work with data every day: operational results, performance indicators, shift reports. They present them at status meetings with senior management, project meetings, and regional and operational meetings. However, numbers alone are often not enough to persuade the audience to make specific decisions.
During the training, participants will find out, among other things:
- How to turn raw data into a clear and engaging message
- How to choose the most meaningful data to present
- How to build a narrative around data that leads to specific decisions
- How to design PowerPoint slides that reinforce the message instead of duplicating it
- How to choose the right chart types for different kinds of data
- How to adapt the message to different audiences
- How to recommend actions responsibly on the basis of data
- How to handle audience questions and objections
- How to present negative information honestly without manipulating the data
The training combines knowledge of data visualisation, storytelling and presentation design. Participants work on real data from their own work environment, so they can apply the techniques they learn in practice straight away.
Objective
The objective of the training is to familiarise participants with the principles of effective data-driven communication. The training covers the process of turning raw data into clear and engaging presentations: from selecting the right data and chart types, through building the narrative and structure of the message, to designing clear slides in PowerPoint. The emphasis is on the practical application of data storytelling techniques in the context of operational, status and project meetings.
